What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, your logged-in session and other preferences, making subsequent visits easier and faster. Cookies can be first-party (managed by real-mp) or third-party (managed by external providers), and persistent (remaining on your device for a defined period) or session cookies (deleted when you close your browser). real-mp uses cookies for the sole purpose of providing a functional, secure and measurable service, in compliance with Article 22 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI).
Cookies We Use
real-mp uses three categories of cookies. (1) Strictly necessary cookies: essential for the basic operation of the site, including managing your authenticated session, protecting against CSRF attacks and persisting your search context; these cookies do not require prior consent. (2) Functional cookies: remember your language preferences (Spanish or English), display preferences and other interface settings to personalize your experience. (3) Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): loaded only after you accept the cookie banner; we apply Consent Mode v2, IP anonymization (`anonymize_ip = true`) and disable Google Signals and ad personalization, so data is processed in an aggregated, reduced form. They are still third-party cookies and therefore require prior consent (LSSI art. 22.2). real-mp does NOT use advertising, remarketing, fingerprinting or cross-site behavioural tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie-derived data with third-party marketing platforms or data brokers under any circumstances.
Managing Cookies
You can accept, reject or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences from their privacy or security menu: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge and Opera all provide detailed instructions in their respective support pages on how to delete existing cookies, block future cookies or configure exceptions for specific sites. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the platform from working correctly, including the inability to log in, keep your search context or sign agreements. Analytics and functional cookies can be freely disabled without affecting access to the service, although the personalized experience may be slightly degraded. real-mp will remember your cookie preferences for 12 months, after which you will be asked for consent again. You can review or change your preferences at any time via the 'Cookies' link available in the footer.
